That’s great if Skype works without any issues, but there are cases where Skype runs into some display problems. One of the most useful features of Skype is the ability to share your computer screen with other people on your call, which can make remote teams of workers even more productive. The Skype software - initially developed by Janus Friis and Niklas Zennstrom and released in late 2003 - has helped connect millions (if not billions) of people with their colleagues, friends, and family. More on this can be found here.Skype has quickly become one of the most widely-used communication tools on the globe.

Due to this issue, the button continues to be labelled "Share Screen" and the screen sharing does not actually start.

After selecting a screen/window to share, the "Share Screen" button normally changes to "Stop Sharing" and other participants can see the presentation. This issue applies to all Mac users who are running macOS Catalina (10.15) and are using the following browsers to join meetings:.
